“Working with Kurt completely transformed my understanding of both mathematics and computer science. He’s able to take complex concepts from calculus to data structures and break them down into manageable pieces. I went from feeling overwhelmed by my work to understanding and acing both math and computer science concepts and I feel confident in my upcoming STEM courses for my final year of highschool. Highly recommend!”
MEET YOUR TUTOR
Hi, I’m Kurt.
I’m here to help.
I’m a full-time Computer Science student with a minor in Mathematics at Wilfrid Laurier University, and I’ve been studying math and computer science for more than seven years.
I enjoy breaking challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps and finding relatable ways to explain ideas that might not click in the classroom. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, working through mistakes, and building real confidence in their abilities.
Outside of school and tutoring, I stay active through sports like basketball and martial arts.

About Tutoring
-
Math: Linear Algebra, Calculus, and most high school Statistics topics.
Computer Science: intro to programming through Python and Javascript including data structures and algorithms — any high school computer science course or advanced placement computer science track.
-
No — I focus specifically on high school students, so I can go deeper on the material rather than spreading across every age group.
-
I'm an Honours Computer Science student with a Minor in Mathematics at Wilfrid Laurier University. During my own coursework I regularly helped classmates work through math and computer science material, and I've been tutoring formally for 2 years. In high school I was part of a competitive robotics team, which is where I first got hooked on both the math and the programming side of things.
